Privacy & security
How Oppsight protects your company’s data and the people in ours.
Stored in Canada
Oppsight's database runs on servers in Canada (Montreal region). Your company's email with us is hosted in Canada too.
Your workspace is private
Your pipeline, notes, calls and lists belong to your company. Other customers can never see them, and this is enforced by the database itself, not just by the app.
Support only with permission
Oppsight staff can't open your workspace by default. When you need help, our team requests access on a support ticket, your admin approves it, and access ends automatically when the ticket closes. Every visit is logged.
If you cancel
Your workspace is locked and kept safe for 24 months, so if you come back everything is exactly as you left it. After that it is deleted. Your admin can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will.
What we measure
To improve Oppsight we count how often each feature is used across each account. We do not read your notes, pipeline or contacts to do it.
Our website
To show businesses near you on the home page map, our website estimates your city from your internet connection. It isn't stored, and the site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. To count visits, our server turns your connection and browser into a one-way code that changes every day; we record only the approximate city the visit came from, never your IP address, and nothing is saved on your device.
What your company admin can see
Oppsight is a work tool your company pays for, so your company admin can see how it's used. We tell every user this up front.
Admins can see each person's features and permissions, sign-in activity, searches from the last 90 days, pipeline, training progress and whether they've watched the introduction video.
Admins can change which features each person can use, what training is required, and who is on the team.
Oppsight staff can see only usage counts per account, unless your admin approves a support ticket.
Information about people
We hold work information only: names, job titles, work phone numbers and work email addresses from public sources and from users. People can ask us to correct or remove information about them at any time by writing to [email protected].
Security basics, done properly
Encrypted connections everywhere, row-level security in the database, two-factor sign-in for our own team, and the most sensitive keys kept off every device that users touch.
See it on your own market
Tell us what you sell and who to, and we'll show you your market in Oppsight.
